Reward Balance is discount credit, not withdrawable money.

These short terms keep the product language clear for customers, merchants, staff, and platform operators.

Customer terms

  • Registration and account use are available only to persons who are 10 years of age or older. Users must provide accurate information and keep their login details secure.
  • The Customer must be registered with Elak Syria before a purchase can be recorded in the reward system.
  • Reward Balance is merchant-specific discount credit. It is not cash and cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another person, or used with another Merchant.
  • Cashback is calculated only on the amount actually paid after deducting any Reward Balance redeemed in the transaction.
  • The Customer may use the full eligible Reward Balance or choose not to use it. Optional partial redemption is not available.
  • Reward Balance cannot be redeemed on a Promotional Purchase. A Promotional Purchase earns half of the effective Cashback rate.
  • An invoice number and payment method are required for every recorded purchase. Invalid, fabricated, or duplicate transactions may be rejected, corrected, or reviewed.
  • A Refund or Cancellation may reverse Reward Balance earned or redeemed through the original transaction. The same reversal must not be processed more than once.
  • Providing false information, using another person’s account, creating accounts to bypass platform rules, or attempting to exploit the system may result in account restriction or suspension.

Merchant terms

  • Every Merchant Owner and Staff member using Elak Syria must be 18 years of age or older and properly authorized to use the Merchant account.
  • The Merchant is responsible for the legality of its business and for its products, services, prices, invoices, taxes, returns, refunds, and employees.
  • The Merchant is responsible for honoring the Reward Balance it issues to Customers. Elak Syria records and operates the technical reward system but does not replace the Merchant’s obligations toward its Customers.
  • Only genuine purchases for Customers who are already registered with Elak Syria may be recorded. An invoice number and payment method are required, and duplicate or fabricated invoices are prohibited.
  • Cashback must be calculated only on the Paid Amount. The Customer may use the full eligible Reward Balance or none. Reward Balance cannot be redeemed on Promotional Purchases, which earn half of the effective Cashback rate.
  • Each Owner and Staff member must use an individual account. Login credentials must not be shared, and the Owner is responsible for assigning appropriate permissions and disabling access when a Staff member no longer requires it.
  • Owners and Staff may access only information belonging to their own Merchant. Customer data may be used only to operate the service, process transactions, provide support, and meet lawful obligations.
  • Customer data must not be sold, disclosed to another Merchant, or used for direct marketing without the required permission.
  • Refunds, Cancellations, and balance adjustments must be completed through the approved platform functions, supported by a valid reason, and kept auditable. The same transaction must not be reversed more than once.
  • Fraud, fabricated transactions, unauthorized access, misuse of Customer data, or attempts to bypass platform controls may result in restriction or suspension of the Merchant account.
  • Subscription fees, billing, renewal, suspension, and termination are governed by the applicable subscription plan or separate Merchant Agreement. Ending participation does not automatically cancel outstanding Customer Reward Balances.
